Gabry Ponte officially began his career in 1998 when he produced "Blue (da ba dee)", the debut single with Eiffel 65, which topped the charts worldwide and sold over 8 million copies. The single was followed by the first album "Europop" which sold another 4 million copies. In 2000, the artist won the European Music Awards as "Best Italian Artist in the world".
In the meantime, he began his solo career and his first singles and remixes immediately appeared in the European charts. In 2014, he entered the Top 100 DJ chart at number 61. In the summer of 2019, he co-produced the European hit "Monster" (over 340 million streams on Spotify) with the young Austrian producer LUM!X.
With over 602 million streams on Spotify alone and over 200 million views on YouTube, the hit "Thunder" with LUM!X and Prezioso climbed the Italian and international charts. Not only that, "Thunder" appeared in the famous Billboard TOP200 of 2021, a prestigious achievement that Gabry Ponte had already reached in January 2000 with "Blue (Da Ba Dee)" together with his group Eiffel65.
In June 2022, Gabry Ponte's single with LUM!X feat. Daddy DJ "We Could Be Together" was released, certified gold in Italy, Holland, Belgium, and France, and in August of the same year, David Guetta's "I’m Good (Blue)" earned a Grammy nomination, making "Blue" the first song in history to receive two Grammy nominations as Best Dance/Electronic Recording.
In 2024, the singles "Mockingbird" with Tiesto, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, "Save Me" with Steve Aoki and Kel, and "Born To Love Ya" with Sean Paul and Natti Natasha were released.
From a live perspective, Gabry Ponte performed in the most legendary festivals like Tomorrowland Belgium, Tomorrowland Brazil, Parookaville and Unreal as well as in icoinc clubs like Ushuaia in Ibiza, Cavo Paradiso in Mykonos and Electric Brixton in London.
